Willow Craft skills share

One of our most popular Skills Shares from previous programmes, the Willow Craft Skills Share is back in 2024. Its the right time of year to cut willow, one of nature’s most sustainable materials so come along to learn and share ideas for ways to use willow for crafts, games and structures at forest school or outdoor learning sessons at Lower Fields Primary Academy.
Bradford Forest School Network’s Skills Share sessions are an informal way to build ideas, gain skills and meet other forest school and outdoor learning practitioners . Exact content will be determined by those that come on the day, but we encourage everyone to bring a skill or idea, however small or simple, to share with others in the group. However don’t be dissuaded if you don’t have an idea to share – all are welcome!
Hopefully you’ll leave with a broadened repertoire of willow ideas to make use of, having had a lot of fun!
