‘Make Play Not War’ A Skills Share all about weapons and forest schools
29th March 2019
This is your opportunity to talk theory and practice of why children make weapons and to share & learn top tips about how to make your favourite weapons. It’s also a chance to see an urban community farm in action: http://hcf.org.uk/
If you are sharing a skill, please bring the relevant materials to enable others to learn your techniques, if you can. There are some trees on site and plenty of willow, but limited supplies of other greenwood available for use.
Hosted by Charlie Gray (07403 394142 or charlie@hcf.org.uk), if you have any queries.
Please note that this is an outdoor venue and event, so please come dressed appropriately for the weather conditions. You are welcome to bring your own tools eg whittling knife, gloves. Hot drinks will be provided and there’s a compost loo available for use. If you can stick around for a social lunchtime, please bring your packed lunch.
Parking is free on the road, but it’s a residential area, so please car share if you can.
Tickets are £5 for Full Members and £10 for Associate Members or non members.
