Outdoor Maths

Bear and Lapor have a programme of outdoor learning courses for teaching staff, outdoor learning co-ordinators and forest school practitioners
The Outdoor Maths course (6 December) demonstrates how the outdoors provides opportunities for making children see that mathematics is real and relevant. By the end of the course delegates will have completed activities relating to KS1 & 2 including:
Measuring, using & applying knowledge and skills.
Shape, position & direction.
Calculations & problem solving
Discussed how these ideas may be applied in their role and simple resources to use.
In addition, we will explore links to the National Curriculum, topics and books / stories.

Teachers, Teaching Assistants & Early Years Practitioners.
