Woodland Management Walk and Talk with Miles Pendlebury (Bradford Trees and Woodlands)

Do you have questions about woodland management in your setting or in Bradford Council woodlands?  Bradford Council’s Assistant Woodlands Manager, Miles Pendlebury is leading a walk and talk around Hirst Wood, Saltaire for BFSN members and associates.  This is a fantastic opportunity to hear from a woodland management profession about practices being used in our local woods, and forest school’s relationship to them.

Topics will include:

• Woodland management practices and forest school
• Damaged and diseased trees – how to spot and report dangers 
• Site rotation verus layering impact
• Sustainable foraging
