Seasonal Crafts Skills Share
27th November 2024
In the darker, colder months, many of us turn to crafts to celebrate the season and to keep connecting with nature. This Skill Share session is to share ideas for crafts that use natural resources available in winter. Come along to learn and share ideas for seasonal / Christmas / winter crafts that can decorate the woodland or house, be given as presents or even sold at the school fayre.
This Bradford Forest School Network session will take place at the Gatehouse, Cliffe Castle, Skipton Road – there is indoor and outdoor space available so the scene is set for a cosy morning of crafting using natural materials.
Bradford Forest School Network’s Skills Share sessions are an informal way to build ideas, gain skills and meet other forest school and outdoor learning practitioners. Exact content will be determined by those that come on the day, but we encourage everyone to bring a skill or idea, however small or simple, to share with others in the group. However don’t be dissuaded if you don’t have an idea to share – all are welcome!
Hopefully you’ll leave with a broadened repertoire of craft ideas for the winter season, having had a lot of fun!
